Hello and Welcome
I’m Vicki and I am the founder of Ostara Therapies My background as a trained beauty therapist has led me on a fantastic path, from working in beautiful salons to prestigious spas.
Throughout my time as a beauty therapist I started looking into holistic therapies, and from my training in different treatments, my love for holistic health began.
In 2018 I was nominated for professional beauty's therapist of the year award and was a finalist, coming in the top six out of hundreds of entries. I have now added to my therapies by progressing into level 4 aesthetic therapies and semi permanent makeup.
From beauty, I moved
to teaching in colleges after gaining my degree in business management, PTTLS and Assessors Award, and I have taught both beauty and business studies while working with my therapies. I now teach fully accredited courses in holistic and beauty therapies as it is my wish to spread my experience and help others to build a career they love.
I continue to develop my beauty knowledge, with a salon management qualification, SPMU & Microblading qualifications, keeping up to date with industry trends and decided to combine beauty with holistic therapies. I have a real passion for both, so they are both given equal status within Ostara Therapies. I am proud to have helped so many wonderful clients on this journey and my team and I cannot wait to help you with your bespoke therapy experience.

About Rachel
My name is Rachel.
I am incredibly fortunate to work as a Complementary Therapist for Ostara and very proud to be a Volunteer Therapist for St Elizabeth Hospice.
I discovered my passion for complementary therapies in my teens, after being diagnosed with an incurable lifelong condition, I began researching alternatives to traditional medicine and have been in love ever since!
I love my work and the ability to help my clients manage their chronic pain and stress. I enjoy working in a smaller setting as this allows me to really get to know my clients and make each treatment bespoke.
My husband and I have been married for 10 years and we are very lucky to have two little boys, a very little lady and a cocker spaniel.
Previously a fully qualified teacher, I left the profession to care for my autistic son and began my formal therapy studies in 2014. I still tutor alongside therapy work and volunteering.
I enjoy reading, music and photography. I love mixed martial arts and archery. My hobbies include aromatherapy, Egyptology, crafts and jewellery making.
I am available for treatments on Wednesdays and Fridays between 9:30 and 2:30 as well as evenings and weekends. I am also available for mobile visits.
Brightest Blessings!
